5th meeting in English

It was one cold and rainy afternoon. As I was about to enter the room, I started to write my assignment in a piece of yellow paper hoping that our Teacher will be late for me to buy some time to transfer my assignment from the Book.

Unfortunately, I didn't succeed. My teacher arrived as soon as I finished copying the sentences without any answers. Well, luckily she allowed me and the others who answered in the book, to check the books instead of the yellow papers. After that, I was also worried of the fact that our instructor in Humanities told us that he has a make-up class at 5:30 pm. And our English classes would end at exactly 6:00 pm. The one that makes me worry is that if we are absent in that Humanities class, this instructor will give us an INC grade.

During our class, our teacher in English told us that she won't be around next week for some conference in Luzon. And gave us a lot of assignments, and I think more assignments will be coming next week, because her assistant teacher will be with us in the class while she is not around next week.

Well, I do hope that those assignments won't be hard that requires a lot of effort. Also, after the class, We luckily made it to our Humanities class, because it was moved on 6:00 pm. Thank God. That's all what happened. Because there was no classes last Friday, Yepey!

Assignments Blog

I think this subject would be fun and exciting with a teacher that speaks a lot of English and has tons of knowledge to share with her students. That is why; I believe that I will learn a lot from this good instructor, like writing a Term Paper, because back in high school day we were not taught on how to write this. And I’m sure with a good teacher that we have now, all of us in this section will improve in writing and we will also gain confidence in using English language in speaking to other people, especially foreigners.
Finally, I am happy to be with a kind teacher that would make this subject easy to learn but can help us to be successful humans in the near future. Also, that is not enough, I, as a student, also has to work hard to get good grades in the end of this semester.

2 weeks of Learning #1

From our first meeting in EnglishB7-3, I really hoped that my teacher would be the same form the teacher I had in English 1 and English 3 last semester, who was Sir Toto and Sir Pol, but unfortunately it wasn’t. We had a female instructor, her name is Mrs. Lynnie Anne Decoampo, when she entered the classroom she started to talk straight English. Then she made this rule that requires all of us to speak English during her classes. It was interesting for me, but still hard because I am not that fluent in speaking the required language. After that, she gave us an assignment about making a Main topic and under it is 5 related topics.
In our second meeting, she grouped us according to our main topics. And told us that each group must create one topic and brain storm about it for us to write a thesis statement and 3 main topics. So, our group’s main topic is “The College Life Distractions”, and while we had some brainstorming, I haven’t help that much because for me, it feels a little awkward in speaking English with other people. But I think the main key here, is to practice English, for me to get use in speaking this language with other people. Then we reported what we have discussed. After that she gave us a goup assignment, that is to make some sub topics from our main topic.
In the third meeting, our instructor was absent, because of an unexpected accident, according to her blog. So, on our fourth meeting, she started to discuss about our grading system, the blog rules, and the learning and assignment blog. Then, we reported our group assignment. After listening from every group, she gave us an activity, which is to write a write-up based on the outline that we had made. Then she left the room. I was just sitting writing till the yellow paper was full, and I passed it and left home, carrying a smile because its weekend.
